Silvia Fernandez Arrojo, born in the city of Havana on May 7, 1918, the dated of death is unknown. Artist of fine temperament; author of numerous paintings of diverse genere. Pofessor of the National Scool of Fine Art "San Alejandro". in 1944 and work with Leopoldo Romanach in colorful. She has given personal expositions in Cuba and in USA. Among those celebrated in Cuba are to be noted two in the Lyceum Society and one in the Lawton Tennis Club, in the years 1943, 1949 and 1951. Among those held in the USA were one in the National Museun in Washington, under the auspices of the Ministries of Education and State of Cuba, 1947 and another in the Washington Art Gallery of Miami Beach in 1948. She was a very award-winning artist and showing works at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Cuba and the Academia de San Alejandro and numerous private collections.
