Eberto Escobedo born in Camagüey, 1919 died in  La Habana, 1995. In 1936 he carried out his first exhibition at The Club of Professionals of Camagüey. Later, in 1939, he enters to San Alejandro National School of fine Arts, where he graduated in 1944. In 1946, he carried out two personal exhibitions, the first, 50 Escobedo´s Oils, at Havana University, and the second one, Escobedo, Oil Painting exhibition at Havana Lyceum. Withim the most important collective exhibitions in which he participated are: 300 years of art in Cuba, Havana University, 1940; Painting Collection of the Cuban legation in Moscow, 1945; Modern Cuban Painting Exhibition, Fine Arts Palace, Mexico D.F, 1946; Art Cubain Contemporain, Musée National d´ Art Moderne, Paris, 1951;Second (Spanish – American) Bienal of Art, Fine Arts Palace, Havana, 1954; Cuban Art.
